Graphic Designers: These are just brilliant! In fact anyone that does a nixer or two and/or deals with clients through a creative process can relate to this but for Graphic Designers its sheer gold! This will be an eye opener for clients but also helpful.
Ireland’s Creative Community got together to let out all their frustration from working with clients using their imagination and technology to create A3 posters in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland.
The illustrations were submitted by artists consisting of Ad Creatives, Designers, animators, directors, illustrators and much more. Check it out here http://sharpsuits.net
The concept was to take the most annoying feedback they get from clients and use that fury as motivation to create these quoted illustrated posters to explain the torture we are subjected to 75% of the time! Don’t get me wrong, as I said this is pure gold and the majority of the time clients are downright hilarious so do not take offense…
But there are times were your toes curl and a feeling washes over you that there is only one way to describe “No beer and no TV make Homer go crazy!” Example:
This collection of posters are funny, inspiring and sends hope to all designers that you are not alone. There are others that do too understand your anger and have gone through the same time wasting scenarios. If you need to talk to someone, I suggest joining a Graphic Design forum where you can find some solace in your craft.
The work was exhibited at The Little Green Café, Bar and Gallery. The exhibition ran from November
2nd – 7th, with A3 prints of all entries selling for only €10 apiece, with all proceeds going to Temple Street.

(No you cannot just use an image from the Internet, reason being is that images from the internet are tiny and only for screen use therefore, they will print out pixelated)
(I’m Irish and I can read Italics 😉
(I love it, but…)
Keep your eyes peeled for more to come…
